Seems Linda is the one who is lacking in this sense. It is very apparent that she has not even read the book...or she would realize that Ted Lyon and Will Graves did not actually write the entire book - not even most of the book. Many of the chapters have been authored by real wildlife "scientists", who hold degrees in wildlife ecology and biology, such as Dr. Valerius Geist, a professor of environmental science and biology with the University of Calgary, and Dr. Arthur Bergerud, who served as the chief biologist with the provincial wildlife agencies in Newfoundland and Labrador, and who studied the impact of wolves on caribou herds. Also, if Linda had actually read anything, she would also know that the work of Will Graves is all based on the wolf research and studies conducted by dozens of accredited wildlife "scientists" in Russia.
I searched the internet for nearly an hour and could not find one link to anything that would remotely link Linda Minch to knowing enough about wildlife biology or ecology to even comment on a wolf related book.
Oliver Starr, shown in the photo above right with something other than a wolf, had this to say in regard to "The Real Wolf" on Amazon.com, "If you really want to know about wolves don't waste your money on this work. If you want a window into the psychosis of an anti science, anti-wolf zealot this is your chance to look behind the curtain and see the sickness, fear uncertainty and doubt that has infected this irrational segment of the population."
